Sports fans love data, making championships like the US Open not just a spectacular sporting event, but a place to gather millions of data points for fans to learn about the players. For more than 20 years, IBM has teamed up with the US Open to share everything from scores and aces to foot falls and serve speeds with tennis fans in the stadium and at home. With solutions on six different platforms for this year, fans were able to easily access data and understand what was happening on the court.
